Bonnie Hurley of Green Cove, VA inherited her love of painting from her mother who also loved to capture folksy mountain scenes whenever she could grab a spare moment. Many of Hurley's works are available as prints and on note cards. She has been accepted in several juried art shows and has received several "purchase awards". Bonnie says "I believe God put within each of us a desire and ability to do certain things and I trust His leading in my art too. I am very thankful to be a part of the Arts Depot where I can carry out some of my ideas and be creative and helpful to people". bonnie_h.JPG (33592 bytes)  

Carol Murray of Marion, VA has been joyfully drawing and painting since she was a small child.  She is an active adult art class instructor in Marion as well as offering private instruction. Carol sums it all up saying "I have wanted to be an artist my entire life. Now through God's grace and the help of family and friends I finally get to do what I love". c_murray.JPG (30687 bytes)  

Helen Morgan creates artworks in weaving, jewelry-making and mixed media which includes digital images, wearable art, and traditional art forms. Helen also serves as Secretary for the DAA helen.JPG (15238 bytes)

Janet Rasnick creates watercolor, collage and acrylic paintings -- Janet thinks of her work as a visual journal of her travels and loves to have visitors in Studio Three which she shares with Helen Morgan. Janet is also a DAA Board Member.

Sara Reese hand builds ceramic sculpture and pottery -- Just as charming as the forms she builds, Sara invites visitors to visit Studio 4 and take a peek over her shoulder as she creates. Sara is also a DAA Board Member sara_2000.jpg (17296 bytes)
