The mission of the Depot Artists Association, a non-profit corporation, is two-fold: first, to support local artists by providing exhibitions of their work, programs and workshops, studio space and encouragement. The second objective is to renovate the Depot, a historically important building owned by the Town of Abingdon and to provide a welcoming tourist attraction, as well as a facility for the Virginia Highlands Festival Juried Art Show.
