The Arts Depot in Abingdon is getting an early start on its spring cleaning. The Consignment Gallery is bursting at the seams with unframed pieces of original artwork, cards, audio CD's and cassettes, three dimensional work, Christmas ornaments, etc. In an effort to make room for more pieces of art from more local artists, the Arts Depot is holding its first ever gallery wide sales event. This will be a fundraising event and most all of the items in Consignment Gallery will be on sale at 10% to 50% off regular prices. Bargains will also be available in many of the seven resident artists studios. The sale begins on February 12th and ends on March 13th. After the special sales event is over, the Consignment Gallery will be cleared and new pieces of original artwork will be brought in by the member artists for sale at regular prices. This is a one time event at the Arts Depot so come in and take advantage of these special offers to help support your local artists
